SEGGER has introduced a non-commercial version of the J-Link sold at a reduced price point per the numerous request of our non-commercial and educational customer base. After the success of our J-Link for Students initiative, we decided to widen the offer to include designers who develop microcontroller projects for fun. We believe everyone should have access to this state of the art development tool. The non-commercial J-Link includes a license for our J-Link GDB Server (Model 8.08.08) and our J-Link Flash Downloader (Model 8.08.05). On request, it also includes three month trial licenses for our; J-Flash ARM (Model 8.08.02), J-Link RDI (Model 8.08.03), and J-Link Flash Breakpoint (Model 8.08.04) modules.
SEGGER and NXP Semiconductor agreed to make the RDI Pro Bundle (Model 8.08.13) for the SEGGER J-Link freely available to NXP LPC2000 customers. This software allows the use of the SEGGER J-Link to access the NXP LPC2000 devices via any RDI compliant debugger; such as the ARM ADS/RVDS, Keil MDK, and IAR Embedded Workbench. It contains a flash loader (permitting downloads to flash) as well as a module which extends SEGGER's flash breakpoint technology (permitting the use of an unlimited number of breakpoints while debugging in flash). This frees the end user of the ARM two hardware breakpoint limitation.
To obtain this powerful debug solution simply download the J-Link ARM software and documentation pack from: http://www.segger.com/download_jlink.html (
Segger Corporate). After installing this software and documentation pack please refer to the directions that can be found in chapter 2 "Using J-Link RDI with different debuggers" of the J-Link RDI User's Guide.
SEGGER and Renesas Technology America (RTA) agreed to extend a 10% discount for our embOS and emWin when they are purchased in a bundle to be used on a RTA platform. embOS is an RTOS designed to offer the benefits of a complete multitasking system for hard real time applications with minimal resources. While emWin is designed to provide an efficient, processor independent, LCD controller independent, graphical user interface for use in any embedded application, and with or without any commercial RTOS. If you find this offer of interest, you may also want to learn more about our Flasher 5 (model 5.05.01) which is a programming tool for Renesas flash microcontrollers with on-chip flash.
Please note that these offers cannot be used in combination and/or with any other offer and/or discount. You must mention the offer at the time of your order. These offers are subject to change without notice at any time.
